Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has broken the Inter Milan goal record, scoring four goals in one match for the first time in Serie A history.
The Belgian striker scored two penalties and two headers as his team defeated Udinese 4-1 at the San Siro on Sunday.
Lukaku's achievement is particularly impressive given that he was playing against his former club, who he joined from the Italian side in 2017.
The 28-year-old has been in sensational form this season, scoring 19 goals in just 16 league games for United.
His performance against Udinese saw him take over the top spot in the Serie A goal-scoring charts, with nine more than Inter's second-placed player, Lautaro Martinez.
The match also marked the return to action of Inter's Brazilian star, Ederson Moraes,Primeira Liga Hotspots after he missed out on the majority of the season due to injury.
Inter have struggled for form this season, but they still managed to secure a comfortable win against Udinese thanks to their dominant display.
The match also saw the debut of new signing Paulo Dybala, who made his Serie A debut for Inter, coming on as a substitute for the injured Ivan Perisic.
Overall, it was a memorable day for both Lukaku and Inter, with the former breaking a goal record and the latter securing a crucial victory.
