RB Leipzig has signed Senegalese international Haidara on loan from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin for the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old is expected to play as a left-back for the German club, having previously played in that position for Hertha.
Haidara was born in Senegal and moved to Germany when he was just eight years old.
He made his debut for Hertha Berlin in 2018 and has since established himself as one of their most promising young players.
Injuries have limited his appearances so far this season but he is still highly rated by his team-mates and fans alike.
Haidara's signing comes after RB Leipzig struggled defensively in recent games, conceding six goals in two matches against Werder Bremen and Hannover 96.
